She works hard in school and is in level two of her secondary schooling.
She is currently living with relatives because her parents can't support her. During a home visit in Decembe 2019, the social worker saw Abimaelle was in so much pain in her lower abdomen she wasn't able to answer his questions. Upon learning of her condition, the site contacted her parents and set up an appointment at the clinic in early January.
She was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome and required a three-month treatment which the site was able to start due to grant funding, but it was interrupted after only one month due to COVID-19 and the rest of the grant money was used for other immediate needs.
Abimaelle is still suffering from extreme pelvic pain and it is critical she complete her recommended treatment plan so she is able to study and live without pain. The sponsor site has asked Chalice for $692.46 to cover four monthly appointments with the clinic, food supplements, medication and testing.
Funding Request: $692.46

Please note that any donations that exceed the request will be used to fund other critical need emergencies that may arise.
